EVENT AND OPERATIONS EXECUTIVE
8 Northumberland Avenue, our central London Venue is looking for a Event and Operations Executive to join our team of venue and event experts. You will be part of an energetic dynamic team planning and operating events for the venue and our catering company AlchemyLive, key brands within the Hamilton Boyd Group.

If you have passion for the hospitality industry and top-notch service, attention to detail and great communication skills, this is the perfect position for you. Experience is required, however we will offer full training to successful applicants.
Job Description

- Have 1+ years’ experience working with events or in the hospitality industry.
- Have 1+ years of on the ground catering service and operations experience
- Have 1+ year of customer service experience.
- Have a proactive approach, willingness to learn and excellent work ethic.
- Hands-on attitude and key member of the operations team who will roll their sleeves up, "no job is too small”
- Have outstanding attention to detail and administration skills.

- Provide operational support on allocated events;
- Support the Senior Event & Operations managers with the day-to-day duties e.g. event setup, hosting, stock taking;
- Learn event administration from beverage ordering, equipment, linen, staffing, menus;
- Support the organisation, set up and running of client tastings;
- Support the organisation, set up and running of meeting rooms;
- Manage casual and/junior staff aiming to maximise performance;
- Deliver five-star customer service to our clients;
- Represent 8 Northumberland Avenue as a brand ambassador;
- Foster good relationships with the clients, stakeholders, and guests at all times as per our values;

The main purpose of your role will be to provide support for all events and ensure consistently high standards in all areas of the operation including client liaison, administration, event delivery and profitability.
This is a hybrid, hands on role which will also require you to support catering operations, lead, manage and direct attending casual staff to set up, deliver food service and close.
